Notes

All Groups

1. Day and Residential bookings sometimes take place alongside each other so
availability of rooms may have to be negotiated.
2. All fees include use of appropriate meeting rooms.
3. Groups are asked to notify us final numbers two weeks before the booking.
4. Any reduction in numbers from the original booking may be charged for.
5. Vegetarian and other special diets will be available whenever possible and if
notified two weeks in advance.
6. Space is often available for smaller groups, so please do enquire.


Residential Groups

7. A non-returnable deposit of £250 is payable on booking. The booking is not confirmed until this deposit has been received.
8. Please ask about reductions for stays of 72 hours or longer.
9. There is an additional charge of £5 per room per night for en-suite rooms.
10.Breakfast usually consists of fruit juice, cereals, grapefruit, toast with marmalade and jam, tea and coffee. Groups wishing to have a traditional English breakfast should arrange this at least two weeks before the booking. There is an additional charge of £5 per head for this.

Day Groups

11. A non-returnable deposit of £100 is payable on booking. The booking is not confirmed until this deposit has been received.

Payment and Cancellations

12. The payment of the final account is due at least 7 days before your visit.
13. Payment can only be made by cash or a cheque made payable to ‘The
Community for Reconciliation’.
14. Groups are advised to take out their own cancellation insurance.
15. If the booking is cancelled the following charges apply:
- over 6 months before the booking - loss of deposit
- between 3 and 6 months before the booking - 50% of anticipated final invoice
- between 3 months and 3 weeks of the booking - 75% of anticipated final invoice
- within 3 weeks of the booking - 100% of the anticipated final invoice.
- The anticipated final invoice is calculated from the numbers stated on the original booking form or latest numbers, whichever is the greater.
