The Ecumenical Order of Ministry is

A dispersed community who seek church unity by
prayer,
mutual recognition of ministries
and interpersonal support

It arises out of the belief that
the church finds it easier to pursue its mission where it is united.

Members of EOM commit themselves to
work and pray for unity within existing denominational disciplines.

The Order provides a framework for ministers to
mutually recognise one another's ministries
deepen their fellowship in the Spirit
make service and witness more effective
make their proclamation of faith in society more relevant and credible
be a symbol of growing unity in Christ's Church
